Kerala Mural
A brief look
One of the most well-known kind of art in Kerala, India, is the Kerala mural, sometimes referred to as Gopuram. It is customarily painted on the exterior walls of Hindu temples and depicts several facets of Kerala life as well as traditional religious tales from Hindu mythology. With contributions from renowned painters from Kerala, it has evolved over the centuries and is still evolving today. Although it was once thought of as a temple art form, it has since entered private homes and many people now have it painted inside their homes as well. This is known as internal mural painting or wall painting.
